The stay was ok till the last day when we were leaving. I packed up my entire room leaving my sunglasses hanging on a coat hook so I could pick them up at the end.I clearly remember them being there 100%. I left the room with my bags and went to the restaurant area, handed in the key to one guy whose really friendly, had breakfast and waiting for my friend to get come over. Had breakfast and sorted the bill, got on our bikes to catch the boat. Just then i realised i left my original ray bans hanging on the hook so i rushed back to my room which was already cleaned and couldn't find them there. So I went to the staff that were all by the restaurant and said what happened but no one said they saw them.
These glasses where 100% left there, my own fault but if the hotel was slightly professional the guy that cleaned would of given them back or at least waited will i left completely before taking them. Long story short my glasses were stolen, Mike the manager said he called the police but they never turned up so that was a lie and basically we could play Mexican stand off any longer.
Ive left items behind once before in a hotel and I got them back no questions, even when i left the hotel completely. Very unhappy which this treatment and id suggest don't stay here or be very careful with your stuff. Thanks |
