Ang Thong National Marine Park is an archipelago of 42 islands and a protected site in the Gulf of Thailand. Experience its famous natural beauty, corals, and marine life on this full day tour.

This relaxed trip includes a number of activities for both the adventure seeker and also the more relaxed type of customer.

We stop at three islands where you will have the option to take part in some of the activities or relax on the beach.

This tour includes snorkeling, kayaking (optional) and trekking up to the most beautiful viewpoints. Experience the stunning Emerald Lake and limestone formations or kayak through the caves after snorkelling in the crystal waters. Our unique boat offers space to relax in the sun or the shade as well as a diving board and slide off the back of the boat for you to enjoy.

We have options available to stay over at the Marine Park for one or two nights. Please not we do not provide accommodation and it is up to the customer to arrange this themselves. Bungalows or camping equipment are available to rent at the Park. Transfer back to Koh Phangan departs the following day around 16:45 (approximate times only).

Itinerary

  • 0800-0845am: pickup at resort by Taxi car
  • 0900am: Boat departs Koh Phangan includes light breakfast
  • 1020am-1200pm: Swimming & snorkeling at Koh Wao or Koh Tay Plow. Includes traditional Thai buffet lunch (vegetarian and meat options) and snorkelling equipment.
  • 1215pm: Kayaking or boat trip to Koh Mae Koh. You have the option of kayaking around 40 minutes under the overhangs of the islands and through a cave or two or staying on the boat to get to Na Tap beach.
  • 1415pm: Emerald Lagoon at Na Tap Beach Koh Mae Koh. The lagoon has breathtaking views and amazing viewing platforms for those panoramic photos.
  • 1530pm: Caves & viewpoint at Ao Ka Beach Watalup Island. The caves are a 50 minute return hike or the viewpoint is a one and half hour return walk. You need good footwear for the viewpoint as the rocks at the top section are sharp but the reward at the end of it is the amazing photographic views.
  • 1645pm: Depart Marine Park. A leisurely 90 mnutes return chilling out on beanbags or sitting on the top deck watching the sun going down towards sunset.
  • 1800pm: Arrive Koh Phangan & transfer to your resort
