"It was great to see much of the island before the full moon. We liked the day with the elephant riding. We had a good guide so it was really interesting. AND it was so good food :) We were glad that we booked via Backpackers Thailand. We felt really safe because we get so many good advice before the "big" day, and rest of the week. So next time we are in Thailand to get the dive license we will book via you :)

"I found "backpackersthailand.com" via the travel guide "Marco Polo" as Koh Phangan was recommended as a destination. The online booking was very easy, you get a very good overview on the webside and you can choose from many different tours. As I had a problem booking the ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan, I got very nice help from employees of backpackersthailand.com which sent me a link for a ferry and told me as well at which Pier we will be picked up.
After we arrived in Koh Phangan we were welcomed very warmly from our Tour guide who spoke perfectly english, helped us every time we had questions and took very good care of us, we felt safe all day. We were provided with cooled water and softdrinks whole day. We loved the elefant trekking and the possibility to take a lot of great pictures with them. Unfortunally the waterfall was dried up (due to it being hot season) but our tour guide just took us a little bit further on and we came to a little nature lake where we made a little break. It was so beautiful just to sit there, jump into the cool water and relax. The dinner we got after it was delicious, we got in touch with the other members of the tour and we had a really good time there. As we booked the tour without snorkling, first we just stayed in the boat while the others got into the water. I told the tour guide that I actually never tried to snorkel and because of that I booked it without it. The explained a lot to me and I got the opportunity to try a look under the sea. That was very kind and a great experience for me! Timely they drove us back to the Pier where our ferry to Koh Samui was leaving. We had a wonderful day on Koh Phangan and we came back with great new pictures in our head. I would absolutly book again via backpackersthailand.com! "Safari Tour: This tour was pretty good. The waterfalls were nice and a good walk. The only real drawback was the light breakfast was just toast. The temple was good and not crowded. The elephant ride was cool as well. We had three elephants to take all of us. It was a really good time.

The Eco Safari Nature Adventure is a great way to see Koh Phangan's interior and this island of outstanding natural beauty.
The tour includes travel by overland truck and includes a visit to the beautiful chinese temple, snorkeling (optional), jungle interior, lunch, Then Naamruk waterfall and elephant riding.
You will have an English speaking guide on the tour and a Thai style lunch is included.
It is by far the safest way to see Koh Phangan due to our mountainous and poor roads.
There are bananas to feed the elephants for that great 'photo moment' and the whole experience will leave you feeling warmth towards these amazing creatures.
There are other animals to see such as a monkey which may surprise you!
A visit to Than Naamruk Waterfall in the island's Phaeng National Park is included with beautiful flora and fauna for that photo opportunity.
On the safari one day tour snorkeling is included as an option where you can snorkel on the amazing coral reef close to our shores or go for a swim or relax on the beach and catch some rays! Equipment is provided.
